Training & Qualifications
My professional qualification is in Humanistic Counselling, awarded by the University of Greenwich, London. My post-graduate qualification training has focused on attachment, bereavement, working with young people and infant loss.
My experience is in working with people of all ages from 11 years and over, providing counselling support through times of emotional distress caused by issues such as loss, bereavement, anxiety, depression, difficulty in relationships, family breakdown, self esteem & confidence, employment/schooling, anger, suicidal ideation, self harm and more.
In addition to my private practice, I work as a Youth Counsellor for the MIND mental health charity and as a Bereavement Counsellor for Cruse. I have previously worked for various agencies and have experience of working with clients from self/parent referrals, Schools & Colleges, Children's Services, GPs and CAMHS.
